Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Ahmad Tajuddin Ali
Independent, Non-Executive Chairman Aged 62, Malaysian
Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Ahmad Tajuddin bin Ali joined the Board as the Non-Executive Chairman on 2 May 2003.
He received his BSc Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from King’s College, University of London in 1973 and his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1977. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Programme in 1994 and was conferred the Honorary of Science degree by Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2000 and the Honorary Doctor of Engineering Degree by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in 2008. In 2009, he was conferred the Honorary Doctor of Science Degree by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and received the Prominent Player Award from the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).
Tan Sri Tajuddin was the former Director-General of Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (“SIRIM”), Executive Chairman of Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Chairman of Gas Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia, a Fellow of The Asean Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) and a Foundation Fellow of the Academy of Sciences, Malaysia.
Tan Sri Tajuddin is currently the Chairman of UEM Group Berhad and UEM Land Holdings Berhad. He is also a Director of Sime Darby Berhad, Bangi Golf Berhad and a few other private limited companies.

Razman Hafidz bin Abu Zarim
Independent, Non-Executive Director Aged 55, Malaysian
Encik Razman Hafidz bin Abu Zarim joined the Board on 17 December 2003. Encik Razman graduated with a Joint-Honours degree in Economics and Accounting, BSc (Econ) from University College, Cardiff, University of Wales. He has more than thirty (30) years experience in the fields of auditing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and management consulting.
He started his career with Touche Ross & Co., Chartered Accountants, London, England and later joined Hacker Young, Chartered Accountants, London, England, where he was admitted as an Audit Partner. In 1989, he returned to Malaysia as an Audit Partner of Price Waterhouse (“PW”) and later Partner-in-Charge of PW’s Management Consulting Practice and became an Executive Committee member. In 1994, he established Norush Sdn. Bhd., an investing and business advisory firm, where he remains as Chairman.
He is a Fellow member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Encik Razman is currently the Managing Director of Mithril Bhd and Independent Chairman of eBworx Bhd. He also holds independent directorships in several public listed companies, which include Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysia Berhad, Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Berhad and Toyochem Corporation Bhd. He is also an independent director of JP Morgan Chase Bank Berhad and sits on the board of several private limited companies.

Wong Siew Yap
Managing Director, Non-Independent, Executive Director Aged 54, Malaysian
Mr. Wong Siew Yap, the current Managing Director of the Company, joined the Board on 25 May 2005. He also sits on the Board of all subsidiaries and associated Companies of the MOX-LINDE Group.
Mr. Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in Master of Science in Welding Technology from Cranfield Institute of Technology, Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance from ACCA, UK and Master of Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and a Senior Member of the Welding Institute, UK.
Prior to joining MOX-LINDE in 1982, he was a research welding engineer with the British Steel Corporation, UK. He started as a Technical Manager within MOX-LINDE’s welding operations, progressing into the main stream gases business holding various strategic roles covering planning, marketing and strategic development. He had previously been seconded to a general management position in Eastern Oxygen Industries (an associated company of MOX-LINDE) and as General Manager - Merchant Products for BOC in South & South East Asia. In 2005, he became the General Manager for the Industrial & Special Products business and then promoted to the role of Business Director in 2007. Mr. Wong was subsequently appointed as Managing Director of the Company with effect from 1st January 2008.

Sanjiv Lamba
Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director Aged 46, Indian
Sanjiv Lamba was appointed to the Board on 30 November 2007..
He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from St. Xaviers College, Calcutta University and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
He has eighteen (18) years experience in the industrial gases industry and has held various senior positions with The Linde Group in India and UK. He is currently the Regional Business Unit Head, South & East Asia based in Singapore.
