Helium
Gaseous helium is extracted from helium enriched natural gas. It is produced in liquid form for ease of transportation and is shipped in dedicated cryogenic containers. For all users of liquid and gaseous helium, a reliable supply of product is essential, for both routine and emergency needs. To this extent, MOX-LINDE’s helium business is run from Bukit Raja where the helium transfill plant is located. ISO tanks are used to decant liquid into liquid helium dewars or helium gas is compressed into cylinders and tube trailers.
Helium, with its unique physical properties, is the only substance that can be used practically for refrigeration at deep low temperatures. Helium is available from MOX-LINDE to meet the requirements of a number of specialised applications including:
